Our clip system is designed to be placed all round the profile of an aluminium window frame to provide a damp proof seal.

Product Description

Eezi DPC is an extruded clip, manufactured from HDPE, on to which an SABS damp proof membrane has been heat-welded.

The unique design of this clip seals on 4 points within the profile cavity of an aluminium window frame. The damp proof membrane extends this seal into the brickwork.

The clip is installed on site by the bricklayer. With the Eezi DPC and 4 Eezi Seal Aliklips installed, the bricklayer can build the window into a cavity or 190mm brick or block wall.

All gaps are now eliminated between the window and the wall. This creates a superior and lasting damp proof seal.

Product Sizes

Eezi DPC is manufactured in 30.5mm and 38.0mm to fit the most common aluminium window frame sizes.

The damp proof membrane is available in 115mm (for top & sides) and 300mm (for sill).

Eezi DPC is supplied in 3600mm lengths – ready to be cut to length on site.

Eezi DPC is manufactured to comply to SANS 952-1:2016 with recycled HDPE which has:

Moderate stiffness
Low overall shrinkage
High dimensional accuracy
UV resistance
High tensile strength even at low temperatures

Cost Savings

The existing caulk-based process of sealing an aluminium window costs on average R160 per window.
The length of Eezi DPC required for the same window will cost R60.
By damp proofing a window with Eezi DPC you can achieve a saving of R100 per window. That’s a saving of 63%!

Time Savings

Eezi DPC is quick to install as it is a clip-in system.
The DPC is easily cut to length using common garden shears and then simply clicked into the window cavity.
When built into the wall, the DPC is set between the brick and mortar so sealing the window.
Compared to caulk-based sealing, the time savings are substantial.

Superior Seal

Caulk-based seals are usually required to fill a gap between window frame and brickwork of around 5mm.
If the caulk is not installed correctly or the caulk degrades or lifts with time then damp penetration problems will occur.
Eezi DPC allows the brickwork to be built right up to the window frame, so eliminating the gap completely.
The combination of damp-proof membrane and zero gap results in a far superior seal with penetration problems eliminated.
