Eezi Window & Damp-Proofing Kits
Our Aluminium Window Installation Kits include all the components required to install and fully seal an aluminium window as the wall is built.
Product Description
Eezi Window Installation & Damp-proofing Kits utilise Aliklips and Eezi DPC. The Aliklips facilitate the mounting of the window within the brickwork and the Eezi DPC seals all 4 sides of the window against moisture penetration.
Each kit is tailored to a specific window size (from PT66 to PT1515) and can accommodate either 30.5mm or 38.0mm aluminium window frame sizes.
Kit Types
We offer 2 types of Aluminium Window Installation Kits:

Window Kit for cavity wall construction (4 clips and DPC for all 4 sides of the window)

Window Kit for block wall construction (4 clips and DPC to seal the sill)
Packaging
All kits are packaged in a tube bag and include full instructions.
Physical Characteristics
Eezi Aliklip is made of PC ABS engineering plastic and four Aliklips have been tested to support 620 kg
Eezi DPC manufactured from recycled high density polyethylene to comply to SANS 952-1:2016, making it a green product

Installing the Eezi Aliklip
Position the Aliklip at frame corner.
Top & bottom profiles only.
Knock into place.
Clip is locked into position.
Repeat for each corner.
Installing Eezi DPC
Insert the near edge of the DPC into the profile.
Push in the far edge of the DPC to lock in place.
Install DPC in all 4 profiles – note 300mm DPC in bottom profile.
Installing An Aluminium Window
Support the frame in place.
Use profiles to hold the frame plumb & square.
Build in the window – abutt brickwork tight against the frame.
DPC is sandwiched in mortar to form a moisture-resistant barrier.
300mm DPC is ample damp-proofing for the sill.
